SNACKTIME, Philadelphia’s beloved seven-piece band with soul, funk, punk, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B influences, is ringing in 2024 with SNACKTIME: Spring Break On New Year’s Eve, a one-of-a-kind evening on December 31, 2023 at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia (1009 Canal St, Philadelphia, PA 19123).
The New Year’s Eve party will feature a unique “MTV Spring Break”-inspired theme. On the concept of the evening, SNACKTIME Co-Founder and sousaphonist Sam Gellerstein says, “We were just on a West Coast tour and it inspired us to bring the heat and the energy of a classic MTV-style Spring Break party to Philly when we’ll need it most – when it’s cold! We thought New Year’s Eve would be ideal. We’re going to have a lot of fun with it. This won’t just be another SNACKTIME show. Spring break attire is highly encouraged, but really, Spring Break is a state of mind. So, come as you are.”The night will feature multiple SNACKTIME sets and a smorgasbord of activations and performances, including thematic décor (think: beach balls and lifeguard stands), contests (hula hoop anyone?), surprise merch drops, and special guest artists and DJs (to be announced soon).

Brooklyn Bowl Philly talent buyer Paul Bacher says, “SNACKTIME and Brooklyn Bowl Philly have enjoyed a harmonious collaboration since our opening in 2021! They epitomize the rich talent and diversity within Philadelphia’s music culture, and we take immense pride in the fact that they have played our venue more frequently than any other artist. This special show marks the culmination of a fantastic year of growth for both the band and the venue.”

Doors open at 8pm, the show begins at 9pm, and will run until early 2024 (i.e., sometime after midnight). Tickets are on sale now for $35 per person and available to purchase HERE.
