Fresh off a presentation at Washington, D.C.’s Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co. from Solas Nua Theatre, One Moment Now was originally created by Ireland’s Murmuration, a theatre collective focused on building rich audio experiences.
“Some people find it hard to sit in a café. Alone. With just their thoughts. Don’t worry, we’re going to keep you company this next while.”
In this audio play for one audience member, you’ll be guided through a story about memory, about grandsons and grandmothers, about coffee shops and hospital visits, through sound, smell, and pictures you make for yourself out of a simple bag of coffee beans. This 20-minute experience, at Good Karma Cafe on Broad Street, plays out through headphones provided by Tiny Dynamite.
One Moment Now was originally created by Murmuration as part of the Bewley’s Café Theatre artist-in-residence programme, supported by Bewley’s Café Theatre and Bewley’s Café, Grafton Street.
