Philly Marathon Specials From Dock Street, Panorama and Patchwork

Thousands of racers will flood the Benjamin Franklin Parkway this Saturday and Sunday in honor of the AACR Philadelphia Marathon, one of the most historic races in the nation. The weekend kicks off Saturday, November 18 with The Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, followed by the full on Sunday, November 19. 

Panorama, Philadelphia’s premier wine bar in the Penn’s View Hotel boasting a Guinness World Record custom-built wine keeper offering over 120 wines on tap, is offering a special menu for Philadelphia Marathon weekend. Runners can carb load on Panorama’s pasta dishes including the Linguini Vongole comprised of cockles, garlic, white wine, Calabrian chili and parsley, the Spaghetti Puttanesca with gaeta olives, garlic, anchovy, cherry tomato, white wine and basil, the Rigatoni Carbonara composed with guanciale, pecorino, peas and a duck egg and the Penne Arrabbiata with garlic, chili flake, basil and pomodoro.

Dock Street Brewing Company, Philadelphia’s original woman-owned and family-run craft brewery founded in 1985, is boasting a post run fuel up special for the Philadelphia Marathon weekend. Participants can show their bib on November 18th and 19th and receive a 16 oz beer and 5 oz pretzel for $15.

Patchwork, a lively restaurant and bar focused on New American cuisine nestled on the second floor of Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia, is offering an extended Happy Hour beginning at 2pm for a post-run celebratory cocktail and bites. Guests can enjoy specials, including the Burger Beer Vibes ($24)deal, which includes a Patchwork Burger, fries and a domestic beer. For those looking to carb-load, Patchwork offers several pasta options, including Cavatelli All’Arrrabbiata with tomato sauce, Calabrian chili and ricotta.
