Philadelphia’s largest outdoor holiday market for local artists, makers and crafters is back with major new surprises and enhancements for the 2023 holiday season. The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will return to Dilworth Park (1 S. 15th Street) earlier than ever before! Look for an extended season that will begin on Friday, November 10 and extend all the way through New Year’s Day, on Monday, January 1, 2024.
Additionally, the market will offer later hours for the first time ever, offering more time to shop, sip and enjoy the beautiful holiday atmosphere after work and into the evening hours. New hours will be Sunday to Thursday, from Noon to 8:00pm, Friday and Saturday, from Noon to 9:00pm, with Thanksgiving Day 9:00am to 5:00pm and Christmas Eve Noon to 5:00pm.
For the new season, the Market will feature over 40 vendors that will include local merchants, craftsmen, designers and small businesses from the Greater Philadelphia and Tri-State region offering handmade holiday decorations, gifts, home goods, apparel, foodie gifts and much more. Look for a major upgrade to the feel of the market with vendors setting up shop in brand new wooden booths this year. The new booths will be all white – the market’s signature color – and feature a glowing Moravian star on top. This will add and enhance the magical holiday vibes that has made the market so popular with locals and visitors alike. Entrance to the Market is always free each and every year.
“Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market is getting ready for a season full of festivities,” said Thomas Bauer, President of the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. “Brand new wooden booths present a major upgrade to the market in 2023! We’re thrilled to share the upgraded look and feel of the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market with our visitors.”
The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will light up Dilworth Park earlier than ever this year – syncing up for the first time with the opening of the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink on November 10th. Once open, visitors will have the opportunity to shop goods and gifts that can’t be found at the usual shopping mall – including everything on Santa’s list from artwork, home goods, ornaments, sweets, food gifts, toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations, candles and more. Vendors will be set-up inside new all white booths that will give the market the largest update to look and feel since its inception in 2015. For an early preview of the first vendors to be announced, see the list below:

For evenings, shoppers are encouraged to check out the Market during new extended late night hours – where visitors can shop, sip and enjoy the thousands of twinkling lights.
The Made in Philadelphia Market returns in conjunction with other major attractions that include Rothman Ice Rink, Rothman Cabin, Wintergarden at Dilworth and Christmas Village. Made in Philadelphia and sister market Christmas Village in Philadelphia (Love Park, City Hall Courtyard, North Apron) combined will feature over 160 total vendors – and turn Center City into one of the most extravagant winter wonderlands and outdoor holiday markets in the United States. Annually, the two markets and nearby holiday activities can attract hundreds of thousands of visitors per year for each holiday season.
Families visiting The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market should definitely add the North Apron and City Hall Courtyard to their agenda, for spins around the Christmas Village Ferris Wheel, the Christmas Village Carousel and the Christmas Village Train. (Please note: Christmas Village and its related rides and attractions run on separate dates, with preview weekend on November 18th and 19th, opening day on Thanksgiving, and closing for the season on Christmas Eve.)
