Get Your Boo On at Smith’s Barely Scary Halloween BASH

It’s time to get your Halloween spirit on at Smith Memorial Playground’s Barely Scary Halloween Bash on Friday, October 27th. Proudly sponsored by The Pincus Family Foundation in memory of David Pincus, this ghoulish gathering promises an evening of excitement and enjoyment for the whole family.

Dig out your most spooktacular costumes and join us from 4pm to 7pm at our sprawling 6 1⁄2 acre Playground for a night filled with Halloween activities that are more sweet than spooky. Families can look forward to on-site trick-or-treating, a thrilling costume parade, eerie arts and crafts, toe-tapping music and games, a photo booth to capture your fearsome looks, valuable community resource information, cool giveaways, Halloween activities. And let’s not forget the highlight of the event – free food trucks and delectable sweet treats specially designed with food allergies in mind!

Hold onto your broomsticks because Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse is teaming up with some fantastic organizations that will make your jaw drop! We’ve got The Discovery Center, Read By 4th, The Franklin Institute’s PACTS Program, Net Community Care, Cabaya Care, The Philadelphia Department of Public Health, Parent Child+, Learn Something Book Series, A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, Blank Rome LLP, SUN Preschool, The Maternity Care Coalition,Red Stone Pizza, Crazy Cream Ice Cream, Chewy’s, Crazy Aaron’s, and Primex Garden Center. Together, we’re brewing an unforgettable potion for families to enjoy throughout this spooktacular event.

Admission rates for the Barely Scary Halloween Bash are $10 per child, while Smith members and ACCESS cardholders can enter the event for free! It’s an opportunity not to be missed for a thrilling family adventure.
