Butcher Bar, the Rittenhouse hub for American comfort food, grilled fare, and an expansive brown spirits collection (located at 2034 Chestnut St), is thrilled to announce brand-new pre-fixe brunch programming dubbed “Top It Off”. The reinvigorated menu boasts all-inclusive two course pre-fixe option overflowing with brunch cocktails available for $48 per person. ‘Top it Off’ brunch is now available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30am – 3:00pm – reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Butcher Bar’s standing à la carte brunch is also served during this time.

The Rittenhouse bar and restaurant, housed in a vintage-inspired space that evokes the classic corner butcher shops of days gone by, celebrates meat lovers, familiar favorites, and (naturally) boozy weekend brunch! Butcher Bar brunch offerings range from savory, to sweet, to over-the-top: think Cinnamon-Sugar French Toast Bites, protein-packed Cheesesteak Breakfast Burrito for meat lovers, or loaded Smoked Salmon Toast, all accompanied by guests’ choice of mimosas, Bloody Marys, or featured margaritas (with plenty of top-offs). Chef John Strain’s pre-fixe menu consists of shareable side dishes for the table and one entrée per individual, plus overflowing cocktails.

“We are so excited to be expanding our hours to include our new and refreshed brunch menu,” commented Director of Operations Stephanie Altes. “We can’t wait to welcome in all of our neighborhood friendlies and tourists alike, especially with the holiday shopping season approaching.”

It’s never too early to get the tea spilling or party started: As the name implies, ‘Top It Off’ brunch features overflowing refills on breakfast cocktails spanning classic Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and featuredmargaritas, all curated by Bar Manager Michael Marino — the perfect accompaniments to the Center City hotspot’s revitalized brunch menu crafted by Chef John Strain.

Alternative to the new pre-fixe menu is Butcher Bar’s standing à la carte brunch menu: Carnivorous clientele can choose from a menagerie of meats and decadent dishes, including Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich ($17) featuring applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, slaw, and house-cute fries; a stacked BLT ($13) crafted with applewood smoked bacon, beefsteak tomato, rosemary aioli, served on sourdough with house-cut fries; or the decadent Lump Crab and Black Truffle Hollandaise Eggs Benedict ($21)for the most extra pal in the party.

The à la carte beverage menu features 16 beers on tap (Brewery Techne Dry Rye Nitro Stout, Fiddlehead White Ale, Elysian Space Dust IPA), 6 draught wines, (notably a Rare Pinot Noir and Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc) 13 options for wines by-the-glass, and a wide offering of signature cocktails and seasonal varieties including: Westside of Broad ($14) crafted with gin, jalapeño, lime, cucumber, lavender, The Butterfly Effect ($14) built using tequila, lemon, pineapple, orange liqueur, topped with butterfly pea flower tea, and Johnny Two Step ($15), comprised of bourbon, cardamaro, lemon, pomegranate, and honey.
