Assembly Rooftop Lounge, Center City’s swanky rooftop lounge with panoramic views of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, City Hall, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is slated to transition into yet another fabulously fun and seasonal pop-up dubbed Haunted Heights at Assembly. This Halloween-themed pop-up will operate from Friday, October 20 through Tuesday, October 31, and will feature spirited décor, scary movies on TVs throughout the venue, themed cocktails, and more – plus a DJ spinning spooky tunes and classics on Fridays and Saturdays.

Highly anticipated featured cocktails include:

Mashing Pumpkins ($17): George Dickel No. 8 Tennessee Whiskey, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, Turbinado syrup, lemon juice

Red Rum ($16): Rosé, Cocchi Rosa, dry vermouth, strawberry, lemon

Porto Ween ($16): Evan Williams Bourbon, port wine, mango coriander syrup, lemon

Hocus Pocus ($17): butterfly-pea tea infused Stateside vodka, St. Germain, lime, club soda

Rose Gold Margarita ($17):  rose petal infused El Jimador Reposado, dry curacao, agave, lime juice

To complement the robust cocktail menu, Assembly is introducing a very special dessert, aptly dubbed Twilight Delight ($12), built with red velvet bread pudding, bourbon anglaise, and topped with a crispy meringue bone.

Additionally, the luxurious sky-high lounge will host a Drag High Tea celebrating Disney’s worst villains on Sunday, October 29 from 10 am – 1 pm. This Halloween-themed two-hour drag show will be hosted by Dominique Lee alongside Philly’s baddest witches – Mandy Mango, Heavens 2 Betsey, and Jean Louise. This unique edition of Drag High Tea is taking a “courses and coursets” approach, offering a four course menu curated by Executive Chef Sonny Ingui, inspired by love-to-hate Disney antagonists. The menu includes:

·      Bread Course: Kronk’s Spinach Puffs

·      First Course: Ursula from The Little Mermaid – Charred octopus with crispy balsamic potatoes, chives, red pepper coulis

·      Second Course: Jafar from Aladdin – Kabab koobideh with saffron rice

·      Third Course: Hades from Hercules – Devils on Horseback with fig vin cotto, pomegranate seeds

·      Dessert: Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland – Wonderland Tarts

Tickets are $75/person and include a welcome cocktail on arrival. Tickets can be purchased here (must be 21+ with valid ID to enter).
