At The Table, Wayne’s venerable and award-winning fine-dining restaurant from chefs Alex Hardy and Tara Buzan-Hardy, is now officially open at its new expanded location at 118 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA.
The new venue boasts a 400% increase in both seating capacity and kitchen size, a four-seat oyster bar, and an all-new beverage program is in development. At The Table will remain BYOB, allowing guests to bring and enjoy their own alcohol with no fee, but has also partnered with Imprint Beer Co. to make use of their liquor license. The new menu will include six cocktails and four varieties of craft beer.
“We toured multiple Michelin reviewed restaurants for inspiration,” said Chef Alex Hardy, “We
watched a lot of episodes of Chef’s Table too. The sensation of looking up from a plate of top-
class cuisine and having your gaze met with the gentle surf of the Pacific Ocean left a big
impression on us. The new At The Table is about removing barriers: between us and our diners,
between our restaurant and the neighborhood, and between truly great food and our
community.”
At The Table has been working with KSM Architects to make that vision a reality, promising a
modern, upscale, oceanic vibe that is distinct and stunning. The space will be color forward, with
minimal grayscale elements. One of the primary hues of At The Table is Champion Cobalt, a
nod to the door of the iconic French Laundry. Chefs Hardy and Buzan-Hardy have also added
many personal touches to the décor, such as striking maritime photography discovered on their
annual trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Other influences include Caruso’s in Santa Barbara, Eleven
Madison Park, and Le Bernardin.
The first menu offered at the new location will be an examination of Chefs Hardy and Buzan-
Hardy’s core culinary style, which is rooted in contemporary French cuisine with a Parisian lean. At The Table offers both a Chef’s Six Course Tasting Menu that is refreshed bi-weekly as well as an à la carte menu of seasonal staples. The current tasting menu includes:
FIRST COURSE / Langostine Toast
East Coast uni, egg yolk confit, caviar, chives, Pullman Bread
SECOND COURSE / Tender Garden Salad
Buttermilk panna cotta, local peaches, Meyer lemon dressing, watercress puree, apricot puree, pistachio crumble
THIRD COURSE / Hudson Valley Foie Gras
