“Marking our seventh installment of Dine Latino Restaurant Week in Philadelphia, we are elated to continue the tradition of celebrating our vibrant Latino culinary community. This year’s event is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our Latino-owned and operated restaurants that have become essential contributors to our city’s rich gastronomic tapestry,” stated Jennifer Rodriquez, President & CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “With each passing year, we witness the growing enthusiasm from both participants and patrons, further igniting our commitment to nurturing and showcasing these remarkable establishments.”
Dine Latino Restaurant Week was initially designed to support Latino-owned businesses during the pandemic and is now become a permanent feature of GPHCC’s calendar of events. The GPHCC’s mission through Dine Latino is to cultivate new opportunities for Latino restaurant owners through driving new and regular patrons to explore their offerings and celebrating the region’s Latino culture.
Sponsored by Aramark and AAA Insurance, Dine Latino Restaurant Week creates the opportunity for enhanced patronage of some of the city’s most beloved Latino-owned restaurants at no cost to participating restaurants. The promotion will take place during dinner service only, with options for takeout, delivery, and select indoor dining at various participating restaurants. The list can be found here.
In addition to Dine Latino Restaurant Week the GPHCC will be hosting a vibrant Dine Latino Chef’s Tasting event with author, Ronit Treatman and Liliana Friesel Elkouss on September 21, 6:00-8:00PM, at La Cucina at the Market.
