The Darren Daulton Foundation to Host Three Fall Fundraising Events

 The Darren Daulton Foundation (DDF) is excited for a Fall filled with some exciting fundraising events. The fun includes a Fall Classic, a Celebrity Bartending Night, and the 10th annual Golf Outing. These events will help The Foundation continue to provide financial assistance to those fighting malignant brain tumors.

On Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Foundation will host its first-ever Fall Classic at the Chesapeake Inn & Marina (605 2nd St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915). Guests will join Foundation Ambassadors Tommy Greene, Mickey Morandini, Ruben Amaro Jr., Danny Jackson, and Phillies alumni including Dickie Noles, Dave Hollins, Wes Chamberlain, Steve Jeltz, Scott Eyre plus Flyers legend Bernie Parent.  Attendees will enjoy a delicious buffet, an open bar, a live DJ, raffles, an auction, and a 50/50. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.

Then on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. will be the DDF’s Celebrity Bartending at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia (900 Packer Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19148). Guests will meet Darren Daulton Foundation Ambassadors, Phillies Alumni and other special guests at Sports & Social, Live! Casino’s one-of-a-kind sports bar and restaurant. The VIPs will pour drinks and swap stories to help honor Darren’s memory and raise money for The Darren Daulton Foundation. Guests can choose from two ticket options, VIP and GA. The VIP ticket is $100 and includes early admission at 12:30 p.m. with exclusive access to the celebrities, a half-hour open bar, drink specials, and hors d’oeuvres. The GA is $50 and includes hors d’oeuvres and drink specials. Both ticket options are available to purchase here. The full list of VIPs will be available closer to the event.

The next day, on Monday, October 9, 2023, The Foundation will host its biggest event of the year, the sold-out 10th annual Darren Daulton Foundation Golf Outing. The event starts at 9 a.m. at Huntingdon Valley Country Club (2295 Country Club Dr, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006). Participants of the Golf Outing can expect a round of golf followed by a helicopter golf ball drop, silent auction, cocktail reception, and dinner while mingling with Phillies alumni. ACME Markets is returning as the Golf Outing Title Sponsor for the fifth year.

This is the 10th year that The Darren Daulton Foundation has been hosting the Golf Outing which is special for several reasons. It marks 10 years of continuing to provide financial assistance to those fighting malignant brain tumors. Since its inception, The Darren Daulton Foundation has granted over $400,000.00 to almost 200 recipients. Additionally, the number 10 is especially important to the DDF community because Darren Daulton, founder and inspiration of the foundation, wore the number 10 during his time playing for the Philadelphia Phillies!
