Concert Cocktails & Wine Tribute Series at Panorama

Philly welcomes a plethora of musical artists performing across town over the next several weeks. Panorama, Philadelphia’s premier wine bar in the Penn’s View Hotel boasting a Guinness World Record custom-built wine keeper offering over 120 wines on tap, is rolling out a special Concert Cocktail & Wine Tribute Series. Look for cocktails and wine flights as an homage to the night’s performing artist.

From classic rock to contemporary pop, Panorama will be celebrating touring performers stopping in Philadelphia: Aerosmith (September 2), Lynard Skynard & ZZ Top (September 16), PINK (September 19), Jonas Brothers (September 21), John Mayer (October 7), and Queen & Adam Lambert (October 18.) Located with easy access to I-95 and the Ben Franklin Bridge, concert goers can start the night with a concert cocktail or flight and return to their room in the hotel to toss their wristbands at the end of the night.

Saturday, September 2nd – Aerosmith at Wells Fargo Center
“Walk This Way” to Panorama for a cocktail that hits all the right notes: Walk This Whey ($16), crafted with gin, peach syrup, rosemary, lemon, and a dash of vanilla Whey powder with a rosemary ice sphere.

Saturday, September 16th – Lynard Skynyrd & ZZ Top at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion
A tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s timeless melodies with the Bin, Panorama will be offering Nebbiolo “Barbaresco” La Vedetta ’19 ($20)fromItalycapturing the spirit of the band in this distinctive wine available by the glass at half price. Guests can step into sophistication with the Sharp Dressed Manhattan ($16), an ode to ZZ Top’s classic style, combining rye, sweet vermouth, Amaretto, and a dash of Amaro Nardini, finished with a sharp provolone cheese crisp garnish.

Tuesday, September 19th – PINK at Citizens Bank Park
A tribute to PINK’s vibrant music career, guests can indulge in the 5 Shades of Pink Rosé Flight ($38) featuring five 1.5oz pours of Rosé:

  • Prosecco Rosé “Treviso” Ruggeri ’21 (Italy)
  • Sangiovese Rosato “Toscana” Frico/Scarpetta ’21 (Italy)
  • Nerello Mascalese “Rosa dei VentiOrganicSiciliane” Tenuta Gorghi Tondi ’22 (Italy)
  • Pinot Noir Rosé “Julia’s Vineyard” Cambria ’21 (CA)
  • Montepulciano Rosato “Organic Grapes~Marche” Passione Natura – Paglieta ’20 (Italy)

Thursday, September 21st – Jonas Brothers at Wells Fargo Center
A playful nod to the Jonas Brothers’ catchy comeback tune, Sucker ($16), is crafted with vodka, sucker pucker, apple pucker, Grand Marnier, and a splash of lime topped with a sweet cherry and gummy bear garnish. 

Saturday, October 7th – John Mayer at Wells Fargo Center
Guests can enjoy a flight consisting of big and bold heavyweight wines as a tribute to John Mayer’s 2006 hit with the “Gravity” Wine Flight ($46), including five 1.5oz pours of various red wines:

  • Cab Sauvignon “Chalk Hill” Mossback ’18 (CA)
  • Zinfandel “Mendocino” Edmeades ’19 (CA)

Wednesday, October 18th – Queen & Adam Lambert at Wells Fargo Center 
Guests can feel the beat with Another One Bites the DustEspressoMartini ($16), with tequila, espresso, agave, a dash of molé bitters, and garnished with a chocolate bite and nutmeg dust.
