Without A Cue Productions is joining The 2023 Philadelphia Fringe Festival this upcoming September with four performances of their improv-style murder mystery show! Each September, The Philadelphia Fringe Festival takes over the city with 1,000 plus performances, including independently produced shows and events, and a number of programs crafted by FringeArts. What sets this interactive murder mystery show, “Whose Crime Is It, Anyway?”, apart from the rest is that every twist and turn is placed in the hands of the audience! Audience members’ votes determine all of the elements of the crime, leaving the actors to improvise around their choices. With 10,000 different possibilities, the same show will never be performed twice, asking the question: “Whose Crime Is It, Anyway?”

“Whose Crime Is It, Anyway?” will be performed at The Red Rūm Theater, during two Fringe Fest weekends: September 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th, all starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $20 and are on sale now! Tickets must be purchased through The Fringe Festival Website. Please click here for more information about the show and tickets.

Powered by cutting-edge Gamiotics, a web-based technology, audience members will vote throughout the duration of the performance of “Who’s Crime Is It, Anyway?” by choosing the action on stage. With each calculated vote, the performers will need to improvise their way into whole new scenarios…whether it be a new character, a new time period, or even a quick costume change. This hilarious, yet fast paced performance is truly encompassing the essence of improvisational theater!

“We are SO excited to be participating in Philadelphia’s 2023 Fringe Fest!” says Traci Connaughton, Executive Director of Without A Cue. “This is only our second time participating in the festival, and we hope you all enjoy this interactive, improv-based murder mystery show!” For tickets to the show, click here. For more information about what Without A Cue Productions has to offer, visit their website and follow them on InstagramTwitter, and Facebook.
