The Bearded Ladies, an experimental cabaret company, presents their third annual cabaret festival of LATE NIGHT SNACKS September 8, 2023, through October 1, 2023. The Bearded Ladies Cabaret is partnering with FringeArts, Opera Philadelphia, and the Mayor’s Office of LGBT Affairs to put on these one-of-a-kind performances.

You can catch a show at their brand new custom-built pop-up cabaret venue, The Closet, located in the South Street Headhouse District at 201 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. These after-hour performances feature different artists every night from opera singers to drag queens, cabaret stars to art clowns, and everything in between. The Co-Directors John Jarboe, who won Best of Philly’s 2023 Performer Taking Drag to the Next Level, and Jackie Soro are promising you’ll leave with a mouthful of rainbows and glitter on your lips.

There are seven hosts that will rotate between the shows which include Jess Conda, Cookie Diorio, Eric Jaffe, Jarbeaux, Jackie Soro, Sam Rise, and US aka Anthony Martinez Briggs. Every show will be unique and with over 75+ local and national performers guests will leave hungry to come back every night.

Get ready to experience a show like you’ve never seen before. The Bearded Ladies Cabaret is a queer arts organization and experimental musical theatre/drag company. LATE NIGHT SNACKS is one of their many productions that specializes in a new selection of guilty pleasures, soul nourishment, and tasty productions. The month-long performance series offers a completely different show every night, encouraging their supporters to come once, three times, or every single night! The shows may include artistic experimentation, adult content, consensual touch, earworms, nudity, jubilation, great selfie material, and rampant queerness. Not every single show will be for everyone, so be sure to look out for details prior to the show.

Kids of all ages are invited to join the hosts and a rotating roster of special guests on Sunday afternoons for Family Snacks: Late Night Snacks appropriate for the mid-afternoon. Expect glitter, colorful costumes, live music, and lots of interactivity.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here. The shows will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., and on Sundays at 3:30 p.m. (Family Snacks) and 9 p.m. Advanced tickets are pay-what-you-can starting at $10+.
