This fall, Center City District Restaurant Week (CCDRW) will celebrate its 20th anniversary with 13 days of signature dining deals, beginning September 10 through September 23. In preparation of that milestone, Center City District (CCD) will host a CCDRW Kick-Off Event in Dilworth Park on Tuesday, August 1 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. with live entertainment, giveaways and major program announcements.
Beginning at 12 p.m., CCD will be joined by the City of Philadelphia, select sponsors and 20-year CCDRW chefs to share information about the upcoming season, including exciting programmatic updates. Speakers will also discuss the lasting impact of CCDRW, as well as an acknowledgement of the exceptional culinary talents found only in Center City.
Live entertainment throughout the afternoon will include a mesmerizing plate spinning performance, music provided by the Elegance Trio, a strolling table model with packaged treats and free crafts for kids. Attendance is free for all ages.
Guests will also have the chance to win restaurant gift cards at the CCDRW kiosk, where they will be encouraged to make CCDRW reservations onsite via OpenTable. CCDRW brochures and printed recipe cards will also be distributed.
