Today, Comcast Spectator announced that the “Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular presented by Dietz & Watson,” a one-of-a-kind winter wonderland experience, will be coming to South Philadelphia this holiday season when it opens its doors in FDR Park on November 17!
Visitors of all ages will feel the magic of the holiday season as they stroll through a spectacle of lights, check off their holiday shopping list, dine on festive treats and beverages, meet Santa Claus, and much more. Along with the new location, Tinseltown will feature brand-new experiences sure to impress both new and returning guests. Details on new experiences will be released in the coming months. Tinseltown will run from November 17 through January 1.

With the magic of FDR Park as its backdrop, Tinseltown will showcase breathtaking light sculptures and displays powered by more than 1.2 million light bulbs. As guests stroll the brand-new layout of this illuminated wonderland in the park, they will find larger-than-life sculptures, including a 60-ft light tunnel, glowing baubles, and, of course, Santa’s sleigh. Tinseltown will also showcase some of Philadelphia’s most beloved landmarks and personalities in lights – along the way, you’ll find a massive, walk-through Liberty Bell, illuminations representing Philly sports teams, and a few more holiday-inspired jawns that guests are sure to love.
Tickets for Tinseltown go on sale on Friday, September 22 on TinseltownHoliday.com. More details about tickets and new experiences will be released in the coming months.
