Germantown Arts District’s July Fourth Friday: Caribbean Rhythms

Get ready to move and groove to the Caribbean Beats as we celebrate a night full of food, dancing, and good vibes at the Germantown Art District’s (GAD) July Fourth Friday: Caribbean Rhythms! In an effort to support and help the Germantown community and its thriving arts and culture scene, the Germantown Arts District holds its monthly Fourth Friday events to provide a space for aspiring artists, musicians, and the community, to share their talents and come together as one. The GAD, as well as participating artists, performers, and vendors, are bringing a little slice of paradise to Philadelphia on July 28, 2023, with a brand new theme: Caribbean Rhythm.

Just like the heat wave taking over Philadelphia this summer, the Germantown Art District is gearing up to bring some heat to the Greater Philadelphia Area through amazing talent and cuisine at their Caribbean Rhythms Night. Immerse yourself in a night of culture and art, as visitors from around the area can indulge in authentic Caribbean dishes, learn authentic Caribbean dancing, dance to Caribbean beats on the street, and shop from local Germantown business owners. Kristen Clark, owner and founder of the Germantown Arts District, is excited about this month’s theme, the amazing partnerships that have formed to help put this event together, and the outpouring of support from the community to help give local artists and vendors a chance to showcase their talents and businesses.

“The Germantown Arts District’s July Fourth Friday event is going to be one of the hottest events of the summer! If you’re craving a tropical getaway but can’t find the time, don’t worry because we’ve got you covered. Join us in Germantown on July 28th for fun, food, and all things Caribbean. We have an amazing line-up of artists, performers, and vendors who will be bringing the party, and we cannot wait to share it all with our community!” said GAD Founder Kristen Clark.
