Discover a Vibrant Celebration of Art and Culture at the Germantown Arts District’s June Fourth Friday

Get ready for an unforgettable night of art, fun, and creativity at Germantown Art District’s June Fourth Friday! The GAD believes Germantown’s historical, cultural, educational, and community contributions continue to shape and evolve the city of Philadelphia, and that is why GAD will continue to host its monthly Fourth Fridays programs, like their upcoming event on June 23rd.

Guests can discover unique works of art, connect with local artists, and enjoy live music. Enjoy an evening of fun and creativity as GAD showcases the incredible talent of Germantown’s art scene. From the open house to the private event and an unforgettable afterparty, guests will be able to immerse themselves in an evening of art, connection, and excitement. Kristen Clark, owner and founder of the Germantown Arts District, is excited for guests to see all of the new and exciting activities and artists that will be featured at this month’s gathering. 

“I am beyond excited that the GAD’s Fourth Friday event is returning for June. This evening promises to be unforgettable, from the Musiqology group to a captivating game night hosted by Candace Johson of Gooshy Candy. Let’s not forget the cultural extravaganza at Ubuntu and the exciting addition of Market Square Park. This June Fourth Friday will be an exciting chapter in our community’s arts and culture journey,” said GAD Founder Kristen Clark.

  • 6 pm – 8 pm – Inside Kinesics Dance Dynamics Theatre (5427 Germantown Ave)
    • Fourth Friday Party Headquarters
      • Networking with Fourth Fridays Artists, Creatives, and Community Members
      • Psychic Readings from Candace Johnson
      • Photobooth & Various Board Games 
      • Music, Food, and Drinks
  • 6 pm – 10 pm – Outside Market Square Park (Across From 5427 Germantown Ave)
    • Enjoy Food, Drinks, Live Entertainment, and Vendors from all over Germantown
  • 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm – Inside Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery (5423 Germantown Ave)
    • Fourth Friday at Ubuntu Fine Art:
      • A showing of the inspiring photography exhibition by Steven CW Taylor entitled, Synergy, which explores the beauty of cultural diversity and social justice.  
      • Friday is the LAST Day to support Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery and the Honeycomb Credit Campaign. Come out and support the gallery as they work to raise money to expand on what Ubuntu Fine Art provides to the community of Germantown. Want to give back but can’t attend?   • 8 pm – 10 pm – Inside Kinesics Dance Dynamics Theatre (5427 Germantown Ave)
    • Lovers and Friends: An Exploration of Intimacy:
      • Presented by Candace Johnson of Gooshy Candy
      • Experience an electrifying and unforgettable evening of fun and intimacy at our black box theater. Join us for the Touchy Feely Game, where lovers and friends come together for a private ticketed experience filled with 80 unconventional conversation starters that ignite intimacy and connection.
