W Philadelphia is celebrating Pride month by stacking Philadelphia Pride weekend, Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4, 2023, with events that invite the Philadelphia community — LGBTQIA+, nonbinary and cis-gendered — to take a stance on what they believe in. The hotel’s second annual Pride celebration invites all to revel in love, individuality, music, connection, and community. The weekend will spotlight trailblazers shaping Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ community across art, music, and performances on the property’s 7th-floor WET Deck and Secret Garden. To further the impact of the weekend, W Philadelphia will be matching donations made onsite all weekend to Morris Home, a program of Resources for Human Development and the only residential recovery program in the country to offer comprehensive services specifically for the transgender community.
“W Philadelphia is proud to stand for individuality, community, and art,” said Ed Baten, Complex General Manager of W Philadelphia. “While this ethos is a throughline for programming year-round, our Pride weekend lineup shines a bright light on that spirit as we welcome the trailblazers who are shaping Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ community across art, music, and performance.”
Pride Weekend programming at W Philadelphia, which is open to the public and hotel guests alike, will span Day (12-5PM) and Dusk (6-9PM) events including:
