On the eve of its 280th birthday, the Pineville Tavern, which is one of the most historic restaurants in the Philadelphia area, has just completed a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind dining destination called “The Garden” adjacent to the original building. It replaces a tented outdoor dining area that was erected at the height of Covid in the spring of 2020.
Take a look at this beautiful space. For menus and reservations, visit the website here.
The Pineville Tavern garden greenhouse was designed by Andrew Abruzzese and famed garden designer Renny Reynolds of Hortulus Farm. There are removable glass walls and doors, heaters to regulate temperature, and vents for days when the greenhouse reaches 80 degrees. Iron gates designed by Broadway and Hollywood scenic artist Vanessa Fenton.
